The moon sat in the high sky as citizens walked around and chatted with their friends. A man walked around with a black coat over his shoulders. Many people gave him questioning glances as to who he was or what he was doing. Some girls even raised a brow to show their interest in the man.

You walked down the street dressed warmly. The near winter breeze stung your face as it whispered past her cheeks. You dug your face into your [favorite color] plaid scarf. You wrapped your arms across your chest and over your favorite leather coat. You looked up as you stopped at a crosswalk and saw a dirty blonde man. He was looking at all the women that passed him or were somewhat close to him. As you turned your head, his amber eyes fell on you and a smirk creased his bored face.

You walked to your apartment. You turned around every now and then whenever you felt someone staring at you. You shook it off and continued to make your way to your home. Once you got inside you closed the door behind you and locked it as usual. You put your stuff down and walked over to your room.

You turned around and felt someone’s presence. You grabbed the closest blunt object and carefully made your way towards your living room, which was the whole of the apartment. You looked around and figured it was just your imagination.

“What’s wrong?” A man said as he pinned you to a wall.

You stared up at the man. His shaggy dirty blonde hair slid on his pale face. Amber eyes stared at you with, what you assumed to be, lust. You tried to bury yourself into the wall as he drew close to you.

“There’s nothing to be afraid of.” He smiled. You’re heart skipped a beat when saw a pair of fangs in his mouth.

“No need to be alarmed.” He whispered as he craned his sharp teeth towards your neck. Adrenaline seeped into you and you pushed him back. You quickly grabbed the blunt object from before and hit him with it. He shook off the object and sighed.

The two of you danced around the apartment. You through anything you could find at him. The vampire ducked or dodged your attacks. He kept doing so until you had nothing else to throw at him. You looked around for something, anything, to defend yourself. You saw a worn out bat near the door, but he was in the way. He caught your gaze and smirked.

“Sorry, I don’t think you want to do that.” He warned.

You ignored him and ran over towards him. He elbowed his gut and made him stumble over a few couch pillows. You grabbed the bat, turned around, and readied yourself for a fight. When you looked around, he wasn’t there. Something grabbed you by your shoulders and you were pinned to the wall once more.

“I told you not to do that.” He said. You felt something piercing your neck then nothing.

You woke up and everything looked blurry as you looked around. The blankets around you felt like paradise as you pulled them over your head. You let out a comforting sigh as you tried to go back to sleep. As you became comfortable once more in your bed, you felt another body next to you.
